Jagadguru Kripalu Maharaj, born Ram Kripalu Tripathi (1922-2013), was a prominent Indian spiritual leader and the founder of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat (JKP). JKP is a global Hindu non-profit organization dedicated to spiritual teachings and social service, with significant centers in India and the United States. Maharaj was formally recognized as a Jagadguru (world teacher) by the Kashi Vidvat Parishad, a council of esteemed scholars. His teachings, rooted in the Bhakti yoga tradition, emphasized divine love and devotion. The organization he established continues to operate major pilgrimage sites like Prem Mandir in Vrindavan and numerous charitable initiatives, maintaining his spiritual and philanthropic influence.
